Beyonce and other stars watch Serena win Wimbledon

Beyonce and husband Jay Z were spotted in the crowd at Wimbledon today watching Serena Williams defeating Angelique Kerber in the women’s singles final.

Beyonce wore Wimbledon white with a beautiful high neck lace number whilst Jay Z kept it casual in a jersey top with a cap.

The couple sat in the player’s box alongside Venus Williams and their mother. Beyonce will be performing as part of her “Formation” tour tonight in Dublin.

Also there to see Serena win in straight sets was Sir David Attenborough, Sir John Hurt and comedian Peter Kay. Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams was in the crowd sporting her new blue-haired look.

Talk show host and Finding Dory star Ellen De Generes watched the match with her wife Portia Rossi. Ellen was seen giving Serena a congratulatory hug moments after she had secured the championship.

This afternoon Serena will pair up with her sister Venus to try and secure themselves the double’s title.

Tomorrow sees Brit Andy Murray take on Milos Roanic in the men’s singles final. Good luck Andy!
